LAUTSTARK

LAUTSTARK was the showcase of an unusual music album. Between February and April 2025, young people from Lichtenberg, Berlin, took part in creative workshops to develop their own compositions , short pieces and scenes reflecting their personal view of the world through sound, movement, and imagery. Whether exploring big questions of identity like “Do I belong or not?” or everyday moments like the taste of their favorite cola, each composition offered a window into a different world.

LAUTSTARK is an alliance between Theater an der Parkaue, magda Caritas Jugendclub, Tube Jugendclub, and the AWO Refugium Lichtenberg and funded by Wege ins Theater, a project by ASSITEJ as part of the federal funding program “Kultur macht stark. Bündnisse für Bildung” initiated by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research.

After our pilot project in 2025, we are thrilled that Wege ins Theater have supported a new longer iteration of LAUTSTARK for March- October 2026. We will be engaging with young people from a refugee accomodation centre and TUBE Youth Club with loads of exciting plans including regular workshops in creating one-shot music videos, cinema evenings, dance classes from guest artists, theater trips, exchanges and a final residency and performance at the Theater an der Parkaue in October 2026.
